Even though AI poses many challenges, most of them seem acceptable if we think of the immense opportunities it can offer to the medical sector. The potential of its application to this field is not fully explored yet, but the first attempts are already bearing fruits. It's enough to think about how AI can drastically increase the accuracy of surgical interventions, or improve diagnostic accuracy through its ability to analyse a huge amount of data and recognize patterns through algorithms.
