My neighborhood has a rule that no one’s grass can be taller than six inches. According to your argument, you don’t like neighborhood rules at all, regardless of what they are, so I should not be allowed to have a lawn mower that enables me to cut the grass in my yard so I can comply. But no one is forcing either you, or me, to live in my neighborhood. Why should you be allowed to prohibit me from complying with the rules where *I choose* to live, when my choice does not affect you at all?
