Contingent staking is completely orthogonal to government reach. Provide one example where the omission of a technological capability limited government reach. That would be like saying, “Sorry government, all my files are encrypted with my key, so you can’t have them.” The government doesn’t care what kind of technology you are using. You still have to obey the law. Maybe that sucks but CS has zero effect on government regulation whether or not it is added to the protocol. So why not add it?
