Yet to see the opponents articulate how we lose the slippery slope past CS that could be forced upon Cardano community without its own consent. No one can take away current staking protocol without Cardano community voting it out. But CS is a tool that would not only help bring on more mass adoption, but help with decentralization by allowing for more SPOs (universities, etc) that have legitimate reasons to maybe create tools to limit who stakes with them (even a simple age verification, etc).
