Cardano Contingent Staking

There is no meaningful mechanism available for distinguishing delegates from each other. Until DIDs, SSI, and ZK technology are standardized we should table CS

Cons
Pro claim 1
Despite the challenges and limitations of current ID verification mechanisms, it's unnecessary to completely abandon the idea of CS. Waiting for the standardization of techs such as DID, SSI, and ZK may take too long and hinder innovation and adoption. Workarounds, such as multi-factor authentication and proof-of-personhood protocols, can provide more secure and privacy-preserving verification methods. It's important to continue exploring innovative solutions to benefit the Cardano ecosystem.

The discussion has to forerun the development which comes before the tool. Do this never because. Also there are already dozens of pools which do contingent staking like activities in a custodial and illegal in several jurisdictions using nfts. Currently they just take the rewards of people who don't have the nft and don't pay the promised rewards. This is very likely against current laws in most of the western hemisphere.
Con claim 2
If there is no mechanism for distinguishing delegates, then why are people worried about SPOs selectively distinguishing between them using KYC?
